1. Tell your co workers you are on a diet. Others knowing about your diet can help you be more resolute; it can help you stick to your program and enable you to exercise better will power and self control. At least the more sensitive coworker will refrain from offering you food.
2. Office parties that celebrate birthdays, retirements and assorted occasions, can really mess up your diet and miscalculate your calorie counting. So when that gooey cake is being passed around, keep healthy snacks around your desk or bag, so that you don’t have to indulge in something you’ll regret later.
3. Do a reality check when you feel the urge to indulge creep up on you. If you find yourself reaching for the double cheese pizza or the chocolate chip cookies, remind yourself why you’re on a program in the first place. This will help to resist the temptation that is being put in your path.
